1. Can I get a trial of ProTools?

No, since the source code is included in the package, we can only offer documentation. If you have specific questions on any of the tools, contact us at sales@prodatacomputer.com and we will have a technician call you directly.

3. How can I get a listing of all programs that access a specified file?

Use PGMRXREF with parameters *ALL or *ALLUSR
 

4. Is your zip tool compatible with PKZIP and WINZIP?

Yes. This means you can zip streamfiles on your iSeries AS/400 and unzip them utilizing PKZIP or WINZIP on your PC.
 

5. Can files be zipped from QDLS?

No
 

6. Are there any pre-requisites for sending emails utilizing ProTools?

Yes. A TCP/IP communication needs to be configured and running as well as SMTP. Access IBM’s website.
 

7. What type of PC files can be viewed using ProTools?

Text files with QDLS only.
 

8. How is ‘Interrupt Job’ used?
